Upaya Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Lanjut Usia Melalui Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) di Desa Tanjung Anom Kecamatan Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to meet the needs of the elderly through integrated service posts (posyandu), supporting and inhibiting factors in efforts to meet the needs of the elderly through posyandu in Tanjung Anom Village. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects are managers or officers and elderly residents in the village of Tanjung Anom. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that efforts to meet the needs of the elderly through posyandu are carried out in the form of health and social services. Factors supporting the implementation of services are the enthusiasm and enthusiasm that the elderly have to participate in every activity, as well as families who provide support and help the elderly to enjoy a peaceful and enjoyable old age. The inhibiting factor is the distance from the house to the posyandu location which is quite far. The conclusion from this study is that there are efforts to meet the needs of the elderly through health and social services implemented by the village government through the Posyandu program in Tanjung Anom Village. Support from family and community is a supporting factor for the elderly to always be enthusiastic about participating in activities. With efforts to meet the needs of the elderly through posyandu, the quality of life and social welfare of the elderly is increasing
