Kekuatan Aktor Politik Lokal dalam Pemilihan Kepala Desa di Desa Tanjung Jati pada Tahun 2019

Abstract

Election of village heads is a political method for electing local leaders. Political actors are people or groups who have political power and the ability to influence society through the political process. Political leaders and political actors play an important role in every political process. On August 22 2019, Tanjung Jati Village held a village head election which was attended by 5 village head candidates. In carrying out the village head elections, candidates cannot do it alone to get to the goals to be achieved. Then it needs help from other parties to achieve these goals. In this Village Head election, the Village Head candidates were supported by local political actors in Tanjung Jati Village. This research finds out the strength of local political actors in the 2019 village head election. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which is research that aims to find out the strength of local actors in influencing society. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the strength of local political actors in the implementation of elections in Tanjung Jati Village has a major influence on vote acquisition in the 2019 election. Actors who have great power and influence are community leaders, businessmen, and local strongmen.
