dc.description.abstract | The objective of the research is to analyze whether workload, ability to adapt, ad job satisfaction
affect employees' performance. The research employs quantitative method. The population is made up
of the employees of PT Bank Sumut Regional I, Medan , and 170 of them are taken as the sample. The
data consist of primary and secondary data. They are collected by distributing questionnaires and
conducting documentary study and analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) w_ith Smart
PLS version 3.0 software program. The result of the research shows that, directly, workload
has positive and significant effects on employee performance, adaptability has
positive and significant effects on employee performance, workload has negative and
insignificant effects on job satisfaction, adaptability has positive and significant effects
on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has positive and significant effects on
employee performance. Indirectly, it is found that workload has negative and
insignificant effects on employee performance through job satisfaction, and adaptability has
positive and significant effects on employee performance through job satisfaction. | en_US |
