Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Sosial Bagi Keluarga Miskin dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Labuhan Kelurahan Nelayan Indah

Abstract

This research was conducted in Nelayan Indah Village which aims to determine the form of social welfare services provided to poor families in improving the social welfare of the community. As for the key informants in this study, namely the Secretary of the Village Head of Nelayan Indah Village, then the main informants the researchers took consisted of three people who received social welfare services in the Indah Fisherman's Village, additional informants namely the head of the environment in the Indah Fishermen's Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, then the theory used is the theory of social welfare services, the theory of poor families. The results of this study are social welfare services provided by the government of the beautiful fishermen village in accordance with Medan city government regulations regarding programs in alleviating poverty such as the provision of Social Assistance, PKH (education, health), different houses, BLT and KUBE. However, not all programs set by the Medan city government run well in the Indah Fishermen's Village. The several programs that are not active are the KUBE program and community empowerment in terms of skills and business capital. This is due to the lack of desire of the local community to hone their skills to improve their standard of living. This is what causes the programs provided by the government in improving the welfare of the surrounding community not to run optimally
