| dc.description.abstract | Drugs are artificial substances or even those derived from plants that can
have hallucinatory effects, reduce consciousness, and are accompanied by
addiction when consumed in excess. Utilization of these substances is often used
for medical purposes because it can relieve pain and give a sense of calm to
people who consume them. Problems arise when these substances and drugs are
abused by those who feel frustrated, lose hope, or simply seek pleasure by
consuming these substances excessively. As a result they will lose control over
themselves, and often lead to violent treatment of others. Those who have already
taken drugs will find it difficult to recover and return to the state before they were
addicted to drugs. The way that can be done to restore the condition of these
addicts is drug rehabilitation. This research itself was carried out at the Sentra
'Insyaf' and After Care 'Insyaf' Sentra Medan to examine the effectiveness of the
After Care program, namely a program at the Sentra 'Insyaf' Medan which focuses
on strengthening the recovery that has been passed by former victims of drug
abuse (FDA) at the Sentra 'Insyaf' . Data collection techniques in this study were
carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. After the data is
obtained, the data is then analyzed by the researcher using qualitative data
analysis techniques according to Creswell and ends with drawing conclusions
from the results of the research that has been done. The results of the research
conducted show that the After Care program in the Sentra 'Insyaf' field cannot be
said to be effective as illustrated by the theory of program effectiveness according
to Sutrisno (2010: 125), namely a program can be said to be effective if it fulfills
all the factors namely Program Understanding, Target Accuracy, Punctuality,
Goal Achievement, Real Change. | en_US |
