Perancangan Sistem Informasi Objek Wisata di Pematang Siantar Berbasis Website

Abstract

Indonesia has diverse ethnicities, cultures, races and religions. Moreover, Indonesia has various sectors that can support national development. One of them is the tourism sector, where tourism is one of the important factors in the Indonesian economy, one of which is Pematang Siantar City which is a province in North Sumatra has natural beauty and cultural uniqueness which has great potential in tourism in Indonesia. However, there are still many tours that have not been visited by many tourists due to lack of promotion and information. The Tourism Object Information System is a website system that is expected to help make it easier for tourists to get information about what attractions can be visited in Pematang Siantar, for example natural tourism, artificial tourism, culinary tourism, historical tourism and religious tourism in Pematang Siantar. Apart from being information for tourists, this website is also expected to help improve the economy of traders around tourist attractions. By paying attention to the things mentioned above, the author is interested in building a digital system in the form of information media that is able to reach a wider range of tourists. The system is built with HTML and JavaScript programming.
