dc.description.abstractThe purpose of education is so that students are able to develop themselves to become truly whole human beings, true human beings according to the uniqueness of each individual, have dignity and human dignity. However, poverty has a significant effect on the opportunity to attend education. The condition of poverty as a basic and fundamental problem has not been completely resolved until now. To help children from poor and marginalized families there must be empathy. Think and speak from their point of view to see poverty in a real context. In the educational process, an integral or comprehensive non-partial and non-linear learning model is more appropriate to use. This research is a descriptive research that aims to determine the ability of teachers to develop learning models for students from poor and marginalized families. The research was conducted at , Private Junior High School Laksamana Martadinata. The population consisted of all students and teachers, while the research samples were taken using a purposive and random stratified technique. The data collected regarding student characteristics, teacher pedagogic competence, and the learning model used by the teacher in learning. The research instrument used questionnaires, tests, and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques use averages and percentagesen_US
