| dc.description.abstract | The development of games today demands higher programming skills. One type of
game that is quite popular is the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre, where players see
the game world from a first-person perspective. This research aims to improve
programming skills by designing and developing a game called Zombie Wave Survival
in the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre, the game was built and developed using
Unreal Engine 5 software. The method used in this research is the Multimedia
Development Life Cycle (MDLC), a method suitable for designing and developing
media applications involving images, sound, video, animation, and other elements.
This method involves six stages, namely conceptualization, design, material collecting,
assembly, testing, and distribution. For data collection, observation and information
gathering through the internet and literature studies that support the making of 3D
games are carried out. The results showed that the designed game can help players in
developing psychological training, quick thinking, reaction, and vision speed. In
addition, it becomes a means of entertainment for its users. | en_US |
