dc.description.abstract | Public health is one of the important aspects in the development of a country, aiming to improve the awareness, willingness, and ability of individuals to live a healthy life, in order to achieve the highest level of community health. It serves as an investment for socially and economically productive human resource development. This research aims to cluster the districts/cities of North Sumatra Province based on the Health Indicators of the Community in 2022, in order to assist the government and health institutions in formulating appropriate policies to improve the quality of public health in the districts/cities of North Sumatra, as well as the characteristics of the indicators formed in each cluster. The method used is hierarchical cluster analysis with the complete linkage method, involving 12 variables of public health and 33 districts/cities of North Sumatra Province. The research results show that using the complete linkage method, four clusters were formed. Cluster 1 consists of 21 districts/cities with good health indicator levels, cluster 2 consists of 5 districts/cities with low health indicator levels, cluster 3 consists of 6 districts/cities with moderate health index levels, and cluster 4 consists of 1 district/city with a very good health index level. | en_US |
