dc.description.abstractManufacturing companies often have inventories so that their production processes run smoothly, especially raw material inventories. Royal Food is a subsidiary of CV Royal Insan Mandiri which produces frozen dim sum. Based on historical data, there was a shortage of chicken raw material supplies on April 25- 26 2022 because demand increased while raw material supplies were insufficient and raw material prices tended to be high. This study aims to measure the performance of raw material inventory at Royal Food in its current condition using the inventory turnover rate, inventory days of supply, and fill rate methods and using the optimal amount of raw material inventory with EOQ, safety stock and reorder point (ROP) in the next period. Calculation of the inventory turnover rate for chicken raw materials shows the best value in June 2022 of 68.35, the results of calculating the inventory turnover rate for the best shrimp raw materials in March 2022 is 68.79. Calculation of inventory days of supply for chicken raw materials shows the best value in May 2022 of 9.14, calculation of inventory days of supply for shrimp shows the best value in March 2022 of 9.82. Fill rate is 100%. The optimal inventory calculation results for chicken raw materials are EOQ of 1,033 Kg/order, safety stock of 40.41 Kg, and ROP of 133.67 Kg. The calculation results for shrimp raw materials are EOQ of 605 Kg/order, safety stock of 40.41 Kg, and ROP of 72.41 Kg. The use of optimal inventory of raw materials in the next period shows that there is no shortage of inventory because the reorder point has been implemented which includes safety stock.en_US
