Penerapan Uji Wilcoxon terhadap Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) Kota Pematang Siantar dan Bukittinggi pada Tahun 2019-2022

Abstract

Socio-economic status of society is often described in terms of various levels of economic progress. Inflation plays an important role in determining the state of the economy. One of the indicators used to determine the inflation rate is the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from time to time reflect the rate of increase (inflation) or decrease (deflation) in the prices of goods or services that meet the daily needs of households. The aim of my final project is to apply the Wilcoxon test to compare the Consumer Price Index (CPI) values between the cities of Pematang Siantar and Bukittinggi. Based on the Wilcoxon test, it is known that there is a significant difference in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) between Pematang Siantar and Bukittinggi in 2019-2022.
