Poverty is a problem that has always been a problem in all regions in Indonesia, one of which is in North Sumatra Province. Poverty is a condition where a person is unable to meet their daily needs which can result in many problems that will occur. This study aims to find out and find out how much influence economic growth, labor force participation rate (LFPR), education and unemployment have on the poverty rate in North Sumatra in 2013-2022. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression method with secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sumatra Province. Multiple linear regression is an equation model that takes into account the value and explains the direction of the relationship of one dependent variable Y with two or more independent variables X1,X2,X3,…,Xk. The results of this study were obtained Fcount 6.038 ≥ Ftable 5.19, so reject H0 and accept H1, which means that there is a significant relationship between economic growth, labor force participation rate, education and unemployment on poverty levels. Also obtained is a coefficient of determination of 0.828 which means that 82.8% of the dependent variable is simultaneously influenced by the independent variables so that the remaining (error) of 17.2% is influenced by other factors outside the variable being studied.
