Perancangan Ulang Tata Letak Fasilitas dengan Menggunakan Metode Algoritma Bee Colony pada CV. Chandra Jaya
Abstract
Layout conditions that occur in the CV. Chandra Jaya causes alternating current
(back tracking) which causes the machine placement and layout to be irregular
and in accordance with the flow of materials, causing an increase in distance so
that material handling becomes high. CV. Chandra Jaya is a manufacturing
company that produces furniture products, one of which is guest chairs. Research
objectives include minimizing material separation, line efficiency and material
handling. Researchers used the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), and the Bee
Colony Algorithm in making improvements to the factory layout. The
improvement method used to solve the problems in this study is the bee colony
algorithm method which has the advantage of finding alternative solutions that
are close to optimum. The results of the improvement obtained from the research
are the Line Efficiency Layout 63% to 75.04%, the material handling obtained
from the actual layout calculation is Rp. 16893.3 per/day. For Rp. 404762.46
per/year. while in the tourist layout, which is Rp. 12718.40 per/day. For Rp.
306263.24 per/year, while the bee colony tour method is in the 5th iteration
