Abstract

Unemployment is one of the problems that are always faced and difficult to avoid for a country, both in developing and developed countries, but in general the unemployment rate tends to be higher for developing countries. The number of open unemployment can be influenced by the number of labor force (X1), population density (X2), economic growth (X3), city minimum wage (UMK) (X4). These factors cause the result of the open unemployment rate to be higher or lower. In this research, the data used are 2015-2022 data, the method used is multiple linear regression, this analysis is used to determine the direction of the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable, the magnitude of the correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination and to find out whether each variable is positively related or not. negative by using secondary data types.
