dc.description.abstractPoverty in North Sumatra is a complex problem that is influenced by various factors. The poverty rate in North Sumatra in 2022 is 8.42%, a decrease from the previous year. This research was conducted to look at the direct and indirect effects of the unemployment rate, gross regional domestic product and the human development index on the poverty rate. One statistical analysis that can be used to analyze the causal relationships of several variables is path analysis. The data collected and processed is data for 2022. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out on the variables of the unemployment rate, gross regional domestic product and the human development index, there is a direct or real influence on the poverty rate in North Sumatra. Z = -0.041X1-0.015X2-0.712Y of 54.7% and 45.3% is influenced by other variables outside the path model.en_US
