Minimisasi Makespan Lantai Produksi Menggunakan Metode Algoritma Tabu Search dan Simulated Annealing pada CV. Era Baru Panel
Abstract
CV. Era Baru Panel is a manufacturing company engaged in the procurement of
electrical designs and panel boxes, with various products such as guardrails, PJU
(Public Street Lighting) poles, and panel boxes with a make to order system. The
criterion in this study is to minimize makespan so that a more optimal work system
design is obtained. With the company's actual system, the company still encounters
problems in fulfilling orders according to a predetermined deadline where the total
amount of time for completion of all orders (makespan) cannot meet the deadline
for work to be completed. With the proposed tabu search and simulated annealing
methods, it is hoped that the product completion time (makespan), namely the
amount of time needed to complete the processing of all work, will be shorter.
Setting the job sequence by minimizing makespan using the tabu search method
produces an ABEDC job sequence with a makespan value of 164,46 hours, while
using the simulated annealing method produces an EBADC job sequence with a
makespan value of 162,82 hours. The two proposed methods are better than the
company's actual method with a makespan value of 179,04 hours. However, the best
proposed method is the simulated annealing method. The performance of the results
of the simulated annealing method can be seen from the efficiency index parameter
of 1,0996 indicating that the simulated annealing method has better performance
and with a relative error of 9,96% indicating that the proposed simulated annealing
method results in makespan savings of 9,96%
