dc.description.abstractThis research was conducted to see the effect of minimum wages, unemployment rates, and economic growth on poverty rates in North Sumatra. This research was conducted by Path Analysis method. The exogenous variables used are the minimum wage, the unemployment rate and the endogenous variables used are economic growth and the poverty rate. Techniques and analysis with Path Analysis are carried out to see the influence of the minimum wage, unemployment rate, and economic growth on the poverty rate. The data collected is processed periodically and in the same period, namely 2015-2022. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it turns out that the two minimum wage variables have a significant effect and the unemployment rate does not have a significant effect, Z = 0.036 X1 + 0.857X2 + 0.931 Y by 80% the poverty rate in North Sumatra is influenced by the minimum wage, the unemployment, and Economic Growth while 20% is influenced by other factors.en_US
