Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Padi di Kabupaten Karo Menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda

Abstract

Rice is the main source of food for nearly half of the world's population. Indonesia is no exception, almost the entire population of Indonesia fulfills their food needs from rice plants. The need for rice will continue to increase from year to year as a result, it is necessary to increase production through human resources, natural resources, as well as the availability of planting area or land area (Sari, 2019). This research was conducted to determine whether or not the independent variable had an effect on the dependent variable. The independent variables used in this research are land area, productivity, and rainfall and the dependent variable used in this research is production results. Data taken from the Karo District Agriculture Service. The object of attention in this study is Karo Regency. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods which will produce an equation that describes the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variables. Based on the analysis that has been done, the multiple linear regression equation is obtained: Ŷ = -2038,300 + 5,699 X₁ + -1,896 X₂ + 1487 X₃ so that the results of the multiple linear regression equation obtain the F-count using a simultan ous test of 571913,088 > 4.76 as F-table. So that there is a direct influence between land area, productivity, and rainfall on rice production in Karo Regency in 2013-2022.
