dc.description.abstractHumans experience workload, both physical workload and mental workload. The workload has an impact on humans and even companies. Workload is influenced by several factors such as environmental factors, organization and others. PT. Wijaya Karya Beton is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry. This company manages raw materials into precast concrete products. Through the measurement results, it was found that the temperature and noise in the work area of production line I were above the threshold value. The high working temperature and noise cause the mental burden experienced by workers to increase. This increase in mental workload affects the time to complete work. The daily production target was not achieved. This results in additional work time resulting in additional shifts if the daily target is not achieved. Therefore, measurements of temperature, noise and mental workload were carried out on production line I workers. Mental workload was measured using the Subjective Workload Assessment Technique (SWAT) method. Based on the research results, the proposed work rotation design. The results of the exercise show that work rotation can even out the mental workload felt by all workers. Then given further suggestions in the form of additional shifts. This is done to prevent workers from working in consecutive shifts, thereby increasing the mental workload they experience.en_US
