    Abstract
    PT. X is one of the companies engaged in the Pulp and Paper industry which is located on Indonesia. The company focuses on efficient production targets by making several efforts to achieve them, one of which is developing Human Resources (HR) for all factory employees. The company also built a division that is responsible for the development of learning for employees, namely Human Resources. One form of implementation of this responsibility is holding Root Cause Analysis training. In the 2022 period, the need for RCA training will increase every month, but from a program perspective, it can be said that RCA training has not yet reached the objectives of the program that was built and is also accompanied by several obstacles that often occur. Starting from inappropriate training materials, missing data at the end of the period due to incomplete training schedules, changes in the proposed training data with actual in-class training participant data, and also delays in submitting the results of training feedback to HR. This study aims to develop the Root Cause Analysis training program system by designing the UI/UX application for Root Cause Analysis training using the Design Thinking method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to 8 respondents. This research resulted in a prototype design of the Root Cause Analysis training application that has been adapted to user convenience through usability testing. The usability results obtained were SCUS values of 95.35, MIUS of 96.8 and MAUS in the high category so that it was concluded that the interface design and application experience were more feasible to implement. Proposed improvements that can be given are the development of the Root Cause Analysis program system so that it can maximize the achievement of program objectives, one of which is by overcoming the problem of training materials that are not according to standards, problems with the training schedule, and overcoming the problem of delays in submitting feedback training data.
