dc.description.abstractProduction scheduling is a planning activity that contains information about what should happen and states a schedule and certain types of activities, in which businesses should schedule to avoid delays in meeting product demand. UKM NASA Karya Teknik is an UKM engaged in the production of simple machines that are useful for everyday life. Until now, UKM NASA Karya Teknik does not apply a specific scheduling method so that sometimes UKM cannot meet demand due to long product makespans, which can reduce the production rate of fastmoving products. The general objective of this research is to determine the make-up of finishing the production of a coffee bean peeler machine using a hybrid genetic algorithm meta-heuristic method. The results showed that makepan was successfully reduced by 15,24% with an efficiency index of 1,18. Proposed improvements that can be given are changing the order of jobs in the production of coffee bean peeling machines.en_US
