    Abstract
    The background that strengthens this research is knowing the management of organic waste into methane gas as an alternative gas (biogas) used by the community at the TPA, as a forum for the agricultural sector to know the composting process with a control system. How to distribute methane gas as an alternative gas (Biogas) which is carried out by the TPA manager. The MQ 4 sensor measures the methane gas content in the compost bin, then sends the methane gas level value to the slave with SPI communication. The purpose of making this tool is to accelerate the occurrence of good fertilization or decomposition which can be seen from the stability of the methane gas, as the working principle of this tool is that if the methane gas level is low, then selonid 1 is ON, its function is to drain molasses liquid into the barrel compost, and solenoid valve 2 is off. If methane gas levels are normal, solenoid valve 1 and solenoid valve 2 are OFF. If the methane gas level is high, then solenoid valve 2 is ON to circulate air out of the barrel, and solenoid valve 1 is OFF. The procedure carried out in this study was by decomposing fruit and vegetable organic waste within a period of 14-28 days, then measuring the stability of methane gas with the MQ4 sensor in the fertilization chamber using a solenoid valve. And the results of measurements carried out for 2 weeks are the initial value in the composting process of 44 ppm and the final result of the composting process is 54 ppm in the state of relay 1 and solenoid 1 OFF.
