Abstract
Automatic whiteboard eraser has become a concern in technological developments in this era. In education, business and other sectors, automatic whiteboard eraser can provide an efficient and practical solution for erasing writing or drawings on whiteboards. In this research, I designed and developed an automatic whiteboard eraser that uses power supply components, ATmega328, limit switches, push buttons, stepper drivers and steppers. This automatic whiteboard eraser is designed with the aim of increasing efficiency in the whiteboard erasing process. By using the control-ler button, the user can activate the automatic whiteboard eraser to automatically erase writing or images on the whiteboard. This automatic whiteboard eraser is also equipped with a limit switch that functions to detect the limit of the movement of the eraser on the whiteboard. When the eraser reaches the move limit, the limit switch gives a signal to the microcontroller to stop the wiper movement. The stepper driver is used to control the stepper motor which is responsible for driving the eraser on the whiteboard. The current regulator in the automatic whiteboard wiper using a stepper driver component is essential to ensure stable and safe operation. The exact current must be adjusted to the requirements used in the system. The current must be meas-ured with an electric power of 0.5 A x 12 V = 6 W and the power used is 0.09 x 220 = 19.8. The current regulator on the stepper driver can only be used up to 3.5 A and is stable when at 3A. If it is used at a current of 0.5 A, the blackboard eraser will not automatically run, and if the current is set at 1 A, the eraser will run but will stop in the middle of the whiteboard.
