dc.description.abstract | Supply chain management or supply chain is a very important part of a company where it is through supply chain management that a company can build a competitive advantage in the long term so that it can continue to be competitive in a dynamic business environment. The supply chain is a network of various entities that work together to create and deliver a product to the final consumer. Supply chain management itself is a method, tool, or approach in supply chain management. The purpose of the supply chain is to maximize the overall value which in the supply chain there is a phenomenon of fluctuations in demand from upstream to downstream. So that this causes the distributor's demand for the factory to be more varied. The increasing demand variation for each stage in the supply chain variation is called the bullwhip effect. The bullwhip effect is one of the obstacles to creating an efficient supply chain. Therefore, this research aims to find solutions to overcome and minimize the product bullwhip effect. The method used in calculating the bullwhip effect uses demand data. Then analyze using the Microsoft office excel program. The calculation of the bullwhip effect is mathematically formulated. | en_US |
