dc.description.abstract | Human resource is an important aspect in an organization because the employee's
productivity has a direct impact on the organization. Factors that can increase the employee pe,formance are effective communication and the utilization of information technology. In addition, job satisfaction is the aspect that can increase the employee pe,formance. The research aims to analyze the influences of effective communication and information technology utilization on employee pe,formance through job satisfaction. The research population and samples are made up of 131 employees working in Medan Mayor Office. Data obtained are analyzed descriptively using SEM (Structural Equation Model). The result indicates that effective communication directly has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, information technology utilization directly has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, effective communication directly has a positive and significant influence on employee pe,formance, information technology utilization directly has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and job satisfaction directly has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, effective communication indirectly has a positive and significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction and information technology utilization indirectly has a positive and significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction | en_US |
