Career adaptability refers to individual’s ability to navigate the transition from higher education to the professional career life. In addition to being adaptable to career changes, students need to have preparedness in developing relevant skills for the future, control in handling responsibilities, exploration of situation and role, and confidence in actualizing the decisions they have made. This research aims to determine the relationship between career adaptability and grit among final semester students in North Sumatra. The number of participants in this study was including 372 students. The instrument used was a career adaptability scale and a grit scale constructed by the researcher based on dimensions and aspects that align with relevant theory. The research method used was correlational study, using the Pearson Product Moment test. The results of the study indicated a significant linear relationship between career adaptability and grit with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.630 and a significance level of p = 0.000.
