Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat di Dusun II Desa Paluh Sibaji Kecamatan Pantai Labu Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

clean and healthy living behavior is a behavior that is carried out because of personal awareness so that the family and all its members are able to help themselves in the health sector and have an active role in community activities. Clean and Healthy Living behavior can be influenced by lifestyle and certain factors such as economic factors, education, age, and living environment where hygiene is lacking. This research was conducted in Paluh Sibaji Village, Dusun II, Deli Serdang Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of public knowledge about PHBS based on the characteristics of age, recent education, and economy. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive design in November - December 2022. The research population in this study is all people living in Hamlet II, Paluh Sibaji Village who are married (with families). The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents who were taken by total sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results showed that the dominant respondents aged 17-25 years were 20 people (66.7%), with female sex as many as 22 people (73.3%), at the last education in junior high school there were 15 people (50.50%), then at the end of high school education as many as 15 people (50.50%) and at a relatively low level of income as many as 24 people (80.0%). The level of public knowledge about PHBS in Paluh Sibaji Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023 has a level of knowledge that is categorized as lacking.
