Sleep is physiological needs for human. A sleep disorder impairs a person's sleep quality Aromatherapy, a non-pharmacological popular supplementary therapy improves sleep quality. This research aims at identifying and examining the differences in sleep quality before and after lavender inhalation aromatherapy in both the control and intervention groups. This research employs quantitative design with quasi-experiment approach and non-equivalent design Non-probability sampling technique using convenience sampling method is carried out to select 100 respondents, cancer patients at Murni Tege Memorial Hospital, divided into intervention and control group with 50 respondents each. All data are collected through questionnaires and analyzed by using dependent and independent T-Test The Sleep Quality Questionnaire (SQS) is used to assess sleep quality. The research discovers that lavender bihalation aromatherapy enhances sleep quality in cancer as demonstrated by a p value < 0.05. Due to its success in improving cancer patients sleep quality, this theropy is recommended as one of independent intervention cure and alternative therapy to improve cancer patient's sleep quality
