Nurse's work achievement refers to the job accomplishment of a nurse, regarding the optimal fulfilment of patients' needs. Measurement of work achievement takes quantity, quality, punctuality, effectiveness, and independence into consideration. Patient safety is the comparison between expected and actual treatment received by patients, provided by nurses. The objective of this research is to analyze the correlation between nurses' work achievement and patient satisfaction at Royal Prima Hospital, Medan, in 2022. This correlational research employs quantitative method and uses a sample size of 99 respondents, selected by applying convenience sampling technique. The data are sourced from questionnaires and analyzed by using the statistical test of spearman rank to reveal the correlation between nurses work achievement and patient satisfaction at Royal Prima Hospital, Medan. The research findings demonstrate that most nurses' work achievement falls into good category (70.7) and majority of the patient satisfaction is classified into satisfied category (74.7). It is concluded that nurses' work achievement is correlated with patient satisfaction with p=0.000 (p<0.05). Based on rank spearman correlational coefficient, the coefficient of the correlation between nurses 'work achievement and patient satisfaction is 0.525, indicating that there is a moderate and direct correlation between both variables. The better the nurses' work achievement is, the higher the patient satisfaction will be.
