Abstract

Fine art is the result of the expression of the creator's soul, which can be enjoyed by way of visualization in two and three dimensions. Riau is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a high potential for fine arts.This is also supported by the continued increase in the holding of art and cultural festivals in Riau. But the place to accommodate and enjoy the work is quite lacking.The design of the Fine Arts Gallery in Riau City can be a solution to help provide a place and space for enjoying works of art. With a contemporary architectural approach, it is hoped that the design of this art gallery can become a place to accommodate and enjoy works of art and then become a new icon for downtown Pekanbaru.
