Creative Hub dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Kontemporer di Kota Medan
Abstract
The Indonesian government, in this case the Ministry of Tourism and
Creative Economy pays considerable attention to the creative economy sector. The
government's seriousness in developing the creative economy sector can be seen
with the establishment of a non-ministerial institution called the Creative
Economy Agency (BEKRAF) in 2015.
In North Sumatra Province, based on data from the 2020 Creative
Economy Statistics, the largest distribution of creative economy actors is found in
Medan City, which is 54%. The development of the creative economy in Medan
City is certainly also a potential for economic development and human resources
that need to be fulfilled.
The design of Creative Hub is considered necessary to accommodate the
development of creative economic activities in Medan City. Creative Hub is
expected to be a center for quality individual development The building design will
use the theme of Contemporary Architecture to give the impression of building
design that follows the times but also blends in with the surrounding environment.
