This study aims to provide information about vocal learning using the
Trinity syllabus, to find out what are the advantages and disadvantages of
implementing vocal learning using the Trinity method, to find factors of
difficulties encountered and encountered by students during the teaching and
learning process, and at the same time provide solutions in overcoming them.
difficulty carrying out vocal learning with the Trinity method. In order to answer
this research, qualitative research will be used by utilizing comparative or
comparative method theory and adding a behavioristic learning theory approach.
The results showed that learning vocals with the Trinity method, namely 1. the
demonstration method is a method of showing good, neat and beautiful practice
material, 2. the reading method is a method of learning to read sheet music using
block notation and reading musical symbols contained in practice, 3 the part
method is the method of playing parts per part of the material in which there are
difficulties in reading and playing it, 4. the drill method is the method of
practicing playing the material given to form and improve skills and train
dexterity in singing, 5. the method of giving assignments is a method of reminding
students to keep practicing in order to improve their abilities so that they are
getting better and maintained. Vocal learning with the Trinity method prioritizes
improving skills, dexterity and insight in singing. Vocal learning with the Trinity
syllabus can form a creative soul that can make achievements at an international
level.
