Pengendalian Risiko Kecelakaan dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja dengan Menggunakan Metode Risk Based Inspection (RBI) dan Job Safety Analysis (JSA) di PT Kreasi Lutvi
Abstract
Hazards and risks of accidents and occupational diseases contained in every job. The high number of work accidents shows that there is still a lack of awareness of workers and companies in dealing with work safety issues. Therefore we need a work accident risk measurement with a unique method that can analyze and analyze the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. In this study the authors use the method of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). The purpose of this study was to determine the control of occupational risks and diseases using job safety analysis (JSA) and risk based inspection (RBI) methods in the production process of cassava chips at PT Kreasi Lutvi. The results showed that some of the risks and diseases identified in this study include working in various knives, workers exposed to spices, slippery/dirty floors, observations in the work area, employee attitudes, carelessness of machine operators, and exposure to hot oil when frying. The implementation of JSA shows that the chemical hazard potential is highest at the sorting station, the physical hazard at the stripping and dropping station, and the ergonomic hazard at the storage station. Overall the work station requires possible controls to avoid work risks. Qualitative RBI analysis shows that the three equipments used, namely the mixer machine in the medium category, the cutting slider in the small category and the knife pas still have a moderate level of risk.
