Analisis Pengaruh Kompetensi Karyawan dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan
Abstract
PT. Telkom Indonesia, Tbk is a Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN)
engaged in information and Tekhnologi dan Informasi (TIK) services and
telecommunications networks in Indonesia. In serving customers or consumers,
PT.Telkom Indonesia Witel Medan must have good quality employee performance
in accordance with the standards set by the company. Employee performance
assessments carried out by the superiors of each division with reference to
Sasaran Kerja Individu (SKI) show that from 2019 to 2021 they are in the good
and very good categories, but have not achieved performance with Special
criteria (P1) and have experienced a decline the number of employees who have
performance in the very good category (P2) every year, and the number of
employees decreases every year. This decrease in performance can be improved if
an analysis of the influence of employee competence and motivation on employee
performance at PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Medan. This study aims to (improve
employee performance at PT Telkom Indonesia, Witel Medan) and was carried
out using descriptive statistical analysis methods, classical assumption tests,
multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination
tests. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling where
each element in the population is not given the same opportunity to be drawn into
the sample. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a
Likert scale and distributed to 28 respondents. The results of this study are that
employee competence, work motivation, and both have a positive and significant
impact on employee performance.
