Pra Rancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Teh Cascara dari Limbah Kulit Kopi: Kapasitas Produksi 687,5 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Mechanical Drum Dryer
Abstract
Cascara is processed coffee fruit skin waste that is usually enjoyed in the form of tea. Coffee waste has the potential to be reprocessed into a product because it has a fairly high economic value, where in the process of depulping 100 kg of coffee will be obtained around 56.8 kg of coffee beans and 43.2 kg of coffee skin and meat.
The cascara tea manufacturing plant from coffee husk waste is planned to have a production capacity of 687.5 tons / year with 330 working days a year. The manufacturing plant is planned to be located in Belawan II, Kecamatan Medan Belawan, Sumatera Utara with a required land area of 3,262 m2.
Hasil analisa ekonomi pra-rancangan pabrik cascara adalah:
• Capital Investment = Rp 277,252,164,460
• Total Working Cost = Rp 192,141,596,243
• Sales Yield = Rp 227,296,505,545
• Net Profit = Rp 22,820,937,591
• Profit Margin (PM) = 10.04%
• Break Even Point (BEP) = 53.75%
• Return On Investment (ROI) = 36.26%
• Pay Out Time (POT) = 2.76 year
• Return On Network (RON) = 13.72%
• Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 8.5
From the results of the analysis of the above aspects, it can be concluded that the manufacturing plant for making cascara tea from coffee skin waste is feasible to build.
