Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Vaksin Booster Covid-19 di Desa Kapias Batu VIII Kabupaten Tanjung Balai

Abstract

The Covid-19 booster vaccine is the government's policy on decreasing the transmission of Covid-19, lowering the mortality rate and morbidity rate caused by Covid-19, protecting people, and achieving immunity of groups of people so that they can keep their productivity in the social and economic fields. The objective of the research is to find out the people's perception at Kapias Batu Vl/1 Village, Tanjung Balai Regency, on Covid-19 Booster Vaccine. The research employs descriptive quantitative method. The samples are 54 respondents, taken by using a purposive sampling technique. The result of the analysis shows that 20 respondents (37%) have a negative perception on Booster Vaccines and 34 respondents (63%) have a positive perception. The conclusion is that there are still many people who have negative perception on Covid-19 Booster Vaccine.
