This study aims to see the role of knowledge about breast cancer on breast self-examination (BSE) behavior as a form of early detection in female adolescencents at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai. Knowledge about breast cancer is needed to carry out BSE behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with cluster random sampling techniques and used simple linear regression data analysis techniques. The population in this study was 610 female adolescents at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai and the number of samples was 100 people. The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge of female adolescents at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai (54%) to the comprehension stage about breast cancer has passed the knowledge stage. However, this female adolesncents has not reached the stage of application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation according to Bloom's theory. The results of this study indicate that the BSE behavior of female adolescents at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai is still low (55%). These female adolescents have not shown good health behavior (health maintenance) in maintaining or maintaining health so they don't get sick, behavior to improve nutrition (food and drink) is healthy. The results of this study indicate that there is no role between knowledge about breast cancer on breast self-examination (BSE) behavior as a form of early detection in young women at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai
