dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the effect of positive affect on the work engagement of plantation employees. This study used a quantitative method, involved 368 plantation employees. The method of data collection was using two measurement scales, namely the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) and the Positive and Negative Schedule (PANAS). The data obtained were processed using IBM Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 26, with the analytical method using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that positive affect predicted positively and significantly to work engagement (r = 0.663, p < 0.05) and the impact of positive affect for work engagement was 43.9%. The implication of this research is to provide information regarding the influence of positive affect on work engagement among employees.en_US
