Kajian Kelayakan Konsumsi Daging Kerang Kapah (Meretrix lyrata) Berdasarkan Kandungan Logam Berat Timbal (Pb), Tembaga (Cu), dan Besi (Fe) di Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang
Abstract
This study aims to determine the content of heavy metals Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu),
and Iron (Fe) in White Clam (Meretrix lyrata) meat, to determine the management
of White Clam (Meretrix lyrata) meat contaminated with heavy metals by
calculating the feasibility of clam meat. White Clam (Meretrix lyrata) against heavy
metals Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Iron (Fe). Measurement of the content of heavy
metals Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Iron (Fe) using Atomic Absorption
Spectrophotometry (AAS). The content of heavy metals Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu),
and Iron (Fe) in the meat of Kapah Shells (Meretrix lyrata) in Pantai Labu Waters
respectively was 4.345; 1.194; 7.11mg/kg. Based on the heavy metal content, the
Maximum Tolerable Intake (MTI) was calculated for White Clam Meat (Meretrix
lyrata) in Labu Beach Waters, Deli Serdang Regency, and the maximum amount of
White Clam (Meretrix lyrata) meat that could be consumed was based on the heavy
metal content Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Iron (Fe) is 0.344; 175.73; 46.86
kg/week.
