Gambaran Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Tindakan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Anak-Anak Panti Asuhan Claresta Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan Tahun 2023

Abstract

Background:. Clean and Healthy Lifestyle is an effort to provide learning experiences or to create conditions for individuals, families, groups and communities so that they can be independent in preventing and overcoming the health problems they face. Clean and healthy lifestyle development can be carried out through the implementation of Health Promotion, namely efforts to increase knowledge, attitudes and behavior to help communities, individuals, families or groups to know, want and be able to maintain clean and healthy living behaviors. Objective:The research aims to know the charateristics of knowledge, attitudes and PHBS actions towards children living in the Panti Asuhan Claresta Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan in 2023. Method:The type research is descriptive. The research is using total sampling technique with a total sample of 30 foster children, with 15 girls and 15 boys. The research used a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of PHBS. Results: The results showed that 80% of children had good knowledge of PHBS, 66.7% of children had good attitudes towards PHBS, and 76.7% of children had good PHBS practices. Girls have better PHBS knowledge and actions than boys, but both girls and boys have the same PHBS attitude. Conclusion: Most of the children from the Panti Asuhan Claresta Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan have good knowledge, attitudes and behavior for Clean and Healthy Lifestyle.
