dc.description.abstractBackground. Muscomorpha is the most common fly in society with its morphological support and ability to fly aiding its role as a mechanical vector of various pathogens, including intestinal parasites. Aim. Knowing the description of intestinal parasites on Muscomorpha at the Inpres Market, Tanjung Morawa. Method. This study is a descriptive study with a cross sectional design and uses primary data obtained from catching flies with fly traps and examining samples at the Parasitory Laboratory of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sumatera Utara. Results. Were found as many as 583 individuals with details of Crysomya megacephala 454(77,87%) and Musca domestica 129(22,13%). Intestinal parasites were found in the from nematode eggs, in Crysomya megacephala samples found 24 eggs(82,75%) and in Musca domestica samples found 5 eggs(17,25%). Conclusion. Intestinal Parasite found in the Inpres Market Tanjung Morawa are eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides 14(48,28%), eggs of Hookworm 8(27,59%) and eggs of Trichuris trichiura(24,13%)en_US
