| dc.description.abstract | Background : After underwent COVID-19 infection, numerous report enlightened Post COVID-19 syndrome in partly recovering patients. This study purpose to describe Post COVID-19 Syndrome (PCS) in health care workers at Haji Adam Malik Hospital.
Methods : This study design is Cross-sectional descriptive research. Data collected with questionnaires. Participants were healthcare workers at Haji Adam Malik Hospital who experienced COVID-19 2020-2022.
Result : Total 100 participants were includes (average age 38.74 years old, 86.0% women, highest year confirmed 2021 51%). Participants experienced Acute PCS (28%) and Chronic PCS (48%). In this study, hypertension (13%) is the most of comorbid. Participant had 90% history of previous mild COVID-19. Acute and Choronic PCS presented similar of frequently symptoms as Fatigue (64%/85%), cough (46%/23%) memory disorder (36%/54%), confusion (32%/40%). Post COVID-19 symptom’s duration is 5,13±5,609 months, the longest is 22 months. In this study, we found the subject with history of mild COVID-19 whom experienced post COVID-19 syndrome 69/90 (76,7%).
Conclusion : The most clinical symptoms of post COVID-19 syndrome are fatigue, memory disorder and confusion. The subject whom had history of mild COVID-19 experienced high post COVID-19 syndrome. | en_US |
