Motorcycle theft crime becomes a serious problem for the motorcycle users. To avoid
the motorcycle theft, there is need a system that can gave the information to the
motorcycle owner, and the alarm’s sound is an indicator to the environment. The
motorcycle security system used the arduino microcontroller is one of the solution to
avoid the motorcycles theft. Arduino microcontroller used to control the electric
currents that contained in motorcycles and the arduino it self will be controlled
through android smartphone. To connected between android and arduino is used
HC-05 bluetooth and GSM A7 modul. The application that contained in android used
to controlled the motorcycle security system. This system is also equipped with IDEA
cryptography algorithms to safe the users data. The application users must log in used
the username and password that have been registered in order to be able to use apps on
android. The results of this research is a system that can find the vehicle location, Turn
on and turn off the vehicle engine at the maximum distance +- 30 meter. The
encryption and decryption of data user (password) used IDEA cryptography
algorithms is gong well.
