dc.description.abstractMice are one of the animals that can spread disease. These rodents can spread disease through their bites and urine. Rats that roam the house are quite annoying for many people. In addition, rats also like to damage the objects around them. They can drill holes in the ground, chew on furniture, and even damage electrical wires. There are several known ways to repel and kill mice such as rat poison, mouse traps, and electric mouse repellents. The workings of this mouse repellant using ultrasonic waves are very simple. When the tool is activated, the sensor will work to detect. If the sensor has detected the presence of mice, it will be displayed via the Blynk application. Then we click ON on the Blynk application to activate ultrasonic waves with the help of the NE555 frequency generator module and emitted through a full range speaker. After conducting the tests, it can be concluded that the HC-SR04 sensor can drive mice away with the help of the NE555 frequency generator module which functions as a source of frequencies emitted through the speakers. After doing some testing from 1 Hz – 200 KHz, it can be concluded that rats have a hearing range between 1 Hz – 50 Hz. And when the frequency is 1 Hz – 50 Hz, the rats seem agitated and a little distracted. This tool is designed to drive away rats around the house that damage cables, clothes, food and all furniture in the house with the use of the internet of things (IoT). the device is connected to the internet and android.en_US
