dc.description.abstractDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body not being able to use the insulin it produces effectively. Insulin is a hormone that regulates the balance of blood sugar levels. The result is an increase in the concentration of glucose in the blood (hyperglycemia). The purpose of making the tool is to make a blood sugar detection measuring system using the LDR sensor and create a program. The working principle of this tool is to read the power received by the photodiode emitted by the LDR sensor. The results of sensor readings will be displayed on the LCD. And data analysis, that is, we get the results of calculating the percentage of errors or an average error of 2.14% and an accuracy of reading around 97.86%. So that the non-invasive blood sugar measurement tool that we make cannot be used as a blood sugar level value that is measured on the actual tool.en_US
