dc.description.abstract | Cooking oil is one of the staple foods consumed by all levels of Indonesian society. Cooking oil that is used repeatedly in frying can experience changes in viscosity which can affect the quality of fried food and can also have a negative impact on health. A tool for detecting the thickness of cooking oil using an inductive proximity sensor based on IoT is a tool that can be used to monitor and measure the thickness of cooking oil in real-time. This tool is used to determine the level of good quality cooking oil based on its viscosity. An inductive proximity sensor is used to measure changes in the viscosity of cooking oil assisted by a magnetic module that will make the tool system able to measure the value of the speed of a falling stainless ball and the time required so that it can be displayed on a 16x2 LCD, then the IoT module is used to send measurement data to a server via the internet network. . With this IoT-based cooking oil viscosity detection tool, it is hoped that it can help users manage the quality of cooking oil more efficiently. Real-time monitoring and accurate data analysis can help reduce waste and ensure optimal quality of fried food. In addition, this tool has a pretty good performance. Inductive proximity sensors can accurately detect changes in the viscosity of cooking oil by measuring changes in the viscosity of the oil. This can be proven from the results of percent Deviation with a value range of 3,1 to 6,7 % | en_US |
