In aquaculture business, water availability and water quality are one of the factors that determine the success of fish farming business. Water is home to fish and its quality is one of the most concerned aspects in pond management in influencing fish production. Poor water quality affects the slow growth of fish. pH is one that affects the state of water in the survival of fish. Water pH control devices help fish farmers to control the pH levels of water in fish ponds to remain neutral using pH sensors that function to produce information on water pH data in fish ponds. When the pH water content in the pool exceed2s the neutral pH level, the pump will drain water to the water filter media containing zeolite, silica sand, and juk. Then the filtered water will flow back into the pool. Fish farmers can control the pH level of water in fish ponds remotely through the Adafruit IO application on mobile phones connected to the internet network. The pH level of neutral water required in tilapia is between 6.5 to 8.5. The pH level in the fish pond study that used a water controller and filter on the first day at 09.00 showed a water pH of 7.94 and the pH level in a pond that did not use a filter showed a water pH of 8.62. The pH level of pond water can change under the influence of rainwater, fish food pellets and fish excrement. If rainwater enters the fish pond, the pH level in the fish pond will increase and when fish pellets and fish excrement settle in the fish pond, the pH level in the pond will decrease and the pond water becomes acidic, which can cause death in fish.
