dc.description.abstractShoes are one of the most frequently used accessories in everyday life. Shoes are often worn during official activities, such as in the office or college. The temperature and humidity of the shoes affect the comfort felt by the user. If the shoes are too wet, bacteria and bad odors can develop. Therefore, this shoe dryer is equipped with a shoe dryer that uses a DHT22 sensor based on Arduino Uno. The purpose of this construction is to facilitate the process of drying shoes. A shoe dryer with a DHT22 sensor based on Arduino Uno has been successfully developed. In this device, the DHT22 sensor measures temperature and humidity automatically, which are displayed on the LCD screen when the limit switch is activated. Then the fan, heater and UV lamp are turned on. Drying ends when the air humidity has reached the specified limit. After that, the buzzer sounds like an alarm message and the entire device system shuts down. This device is designed to sterilize shoes with a UV lamp. The device was tested by inserting wet shoes into the box. Then the system starts by connecting the device to the adapter. The DHT22 sensor then measures the temperature and humidity which are then displayed on the LCD screen. The results of the tool test show that the average percent deviation level for temperature is 0.3% and for humidity is 1.6%en_US
