dc.description.abstract | The design and realization of an automatic door system has been carried out using the Atmega 328P microcontroller. This tool can be used as an automatic door system at banks or places that require an automatic door system.
This system consists of an Atmega 328P microcontroller, KC7783R PIR Sensor, Servo Motor, MP Player, Speaker. This system works after the KC7783R PIR sensor detects human movement, the KC7783R PIR sensor will send a signal to the microcontroller. then the microcontroller will send a signal to the servo motor. This system has been realized and can move the door automatically, if someone approaches the door with a distance of no more than 6 cm and the KC7783R PIR sensor detects the person's movement. the door will move automatically to the left and right and the speaker will sound "welcome where the digital player is in the form of an Mp3 that has recorded and stored the sound first on the SD card or memory card.
Even so, this tool still has weaknesses, namely when the door is in the process of closing. if the sensor still detects human movement, the door will immediately reopen, but this condition only applies temporarily at the initial activation of the system.
