Analisis Faktor - Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Rumah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

House is one of basic human needs besides food and clothing. In its development, house has become one of the promising investment alternatives expected that its prices will continue to rise. Deli Serdang is a regency in North Sumatra province that has increased economic growth and high population progress. This increase in population progress results in a significant growth of housing development in Deli Serdang Regency. The objective of this research is to analyze the factors affecting the housing demand in Deli Serdang Regency. The independent variables consist of price, facilities, income, family members, and location. This research uses primaty data and takes I 00 respondents. The data are collected through interviews, observations. and questionnaires which are then analyzed using multiple linear regression models using the £views 7. The results demonstrate that price, facilities, income, and family members have positive and significant effects on the housing demand in Deli Serdang Regency, while location has negative and significant effects on the housing demand in Deli Serdang Regency.
